It may seem a bit late to be writing an introspective post for last year. The truth is that I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do with The Visiting Room this year. We have a solid following on social media that I am happy with, and while continuing to grow is a priority, I think that it is time to switch gears a bit into being able to provide something back to you all.
My goals for this year are simple; put together a resource guide for families that is available on the website; get a monthly newsletter together; a bi-weekly podcast and get our online shop in working order with some updated merchandise. I think I got the last one taken care of tonight. It would be nice to break even on the website.
I have a book I’ve been working on. It is mostly fiction, but some of the characters are very loosely based on people or situations I know. My goal is to have it done by the end of the year.
So there you go, a quick update on my plans for The Visiting Room in 2020. I wish you all nothing but the most abundant blessings and peaceful life in the upcoming year.
